Welcome to the Crichton College Office of Career Development!

Looking for a great full-time or part-time job? Need an internship requirement to graduate? Then come check out the Career Development Center (CDC). The CDC supports all students and alumni of Crichton College in exploring and making effective career and educational choices. We are located in the Bryce Student Center and are open Monday through Friday starting at 9am, so come on over and make an appointment to check out all the services we have to offer because the CDC is here to serve you!!!

Assessment Tools

In conjunction with FOCUS Career, the CDC has initiated a new career and education planning tool that will enable students to self-assess relevant personal qualities and explore career fields and major areas of study that are most compatible with their assessment results. To access the FOCUS assessments please click on the FOCUS logo above and sign-up. For the “keycode” please contact the Career Development Center.

Individual Career Counseling
Individual appointments are available to students needing to discuss personal career concerns, review resumes, and even identify occupations that best match their personal attributes and their major.

Résumé Assistance
Want to make a great first impression with a potential employer? Stop by the CDC and spice up your resume. “A good resume is your handshake and a promise of the professionalism that you’ll bring to a new job.” The CDC has resources that will help students write unbeatable resumes that will give you tips and strategies on how to write resumes that will get results.

Career Development Workshops
The CDC offers a menu of workshop topics including Resume Development, Job Search Strategies, and Interview Preparation. In addition, we are pleased to offer an annual Career Seminar that focuses on preparing students and alumni for the job search and anticipated success in the marketplace. Topics addressed would include resume development, dining etiquette, and dressing for success.
