April 17, 2007 – Head Coach Dee Wilkes announced the signing of LaKeisha Patterson today to the Lady Comets Cross Country team. LaKeisha is from Memphis and is the daughter of Paula Patterson.

Patterson ran Cross Country and participated in Track and Field and Basketball at Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, TN for Coach Derek Hunter. While running cross country at BTW, Keisha has had the opportunity to go to the City Championships twice.

Coach Wilkes is excited to have Patterson join the team and believes she will be a real asset to the Lady Comets in the 2008-2009 season.
