Martin, TN September 9, 2006  - The inaugural Women's Cross Country season continued Saturday as the Lady Comets finished in second place at the Lambuth University Invitational. . Elizabeth Hanna led the way as the Lady Comets finishing 13th overall with a 5K time of 22:34 TranSouth Conference opponent Union University  won the event with the University of the Ozarks and Central Baptist College finishing third and fourth respectively. and Bethel College. This is the last event before the NAIA Region IX tournament on November 4th in Louisville Kentucky.
