Head Coach Rodney Hamilton signed another Women's
Cross Country runner today as Elizabeth Hanna became the
newest member of the Inaugural Women's Cross Country
team. Hanna, Hamilton's first signing outside of Memphis,
is currently attending Olive Branch High School. Hanna
has only been running Cross Country for two years but
has already experience much success. Competing in
District 2 - 5A, Mississippi's largest classification,
Hannah and and her Olive Branch teammates are the
defending District, County, Conference, and Regional
champions in Track and Field. Hanna who runs the two
mile and the mile for Olive Branch finished her Junior
season undefeated in the two events at the District,
County, and Conference levels. This season she remains
undefeated in the two mile and recently broke the
schools record by almost one minute, a record that stood
for nine years. Hanna is a strong young runner who's
best times are still ahead of her. She will join a young
group of runners looking to establish a winning
tradition at Crichton.
