Martin, TN September 9, 2006  - The inaugural Women's Cross Country season continued Saturday as the Lady Comets finished in third place at the Skyhawk Invitational held at UT Martin. Julianne Callis led the way as the Lady Comets finished ahead of TranSouth Conference opponents Lambuth University and Bethel College. Conference opponent Union University took first place in the event with host UT Martin finishing second. The Lady Comets continue to improve and got a much needed confidence boost with the third place finish.
