March 1, 2008 – On Saturday, March 1st, the Crichton men's and women's soccer teams hosted a soccer clinic for the 2nd Presbyterian Church Recreational Soccer Program. The clinic was an "expression of thanks" for the partnership of 2nd Presbyterian and their support of Crichton Soccer (both teams practice and play on 2nd Presbyterian facilities), as well as a "jump start" to the 2nd Presbyterian spring soccer season, which begins this week and runs through early May. Over 75 children took part, ranging in ages from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. The beautiful weather was an added bonus as everyone had a brilliant time teaching, coaching, learning, and playing the beautiful game of soccer!
