Comets Win First Game This Season

September 24, 2007 - The Comets won their first game of the season today when they played Williams Baptist at home with a score of 4-1.

Kyle O'Neill scored the first goal early in the first period on an assist from Patrick Kabano and Darren Cole followed midway through the half with a second goal with an assist from Matthew Long. Williams Baptist scored a goal early in the second half, but the Comets came back and scored 2 more goals. Paul Mahoney scored on an assist from John Liom and Cathal Lynch and then James Phillips scored. Bradley Greer had 4 saves in the game.
