Comets Come Up Short Against Martin Methodist

Memphis TN– September 16, 2006 - Crichton College's Men's Soccer team lost at home today to TranSouth Conference opponent Martin Methodist College. Both teams came into the game looking for their first conference win of the season. Martin struck first on a Fernando Barbeiro goal and took a 1-0 lead into the second half. Robbie Milner put the Red Hawks up by two with a second half goal and Martin's defense held the Comets scoreless to pick up the win. Bradley Greer picked up nine saves in the loss and Crichton dropped their record to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the TranSouth Athletic Conference. 

 

Final Score: Crichton 0 - Martin Methodist 2  

 

Next up the Comets get another chance to pick up their first conference win as they host Trevecca Nazarene University on Saturday September 23 at 4:00 p.m.
