Jeff Walker and his coaching staff hosted a basketball clinic for the Memphis City Schools boys and girls basketball coaches Thursday, September 13, at Crichton College.  Over 125 High School and Middle School coaches were in attendance at the Crichton campus for this event.  After a short introduction of the Crichton Program and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in the auditorium, Coach Walker and his staff along with Crichton players put on a clinic in the gym. 

Memphis City School coaches were provided with a Individual Workout and Drill Sheet.  This sheet provided them with the terminology used by Crichton coaches and players along with a description of the drill.  Coach Walker, his staff and players demonstrated each drill, first by walking through it slowly and then speeding it up so the coaches could fully understand what was being done. 

Following the clinic, middle school and high school coaches adjourned to their respective meetings. All of the coaches came back to the gym following their meetings to eat.  Coach Walker and his staff gave away Crichton mugs and t-shirts as door prizes during the dinner hour.
