  Robert O'Kelley Named Assistant Basketball Coach

Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach, Jeff Walker, announced the hiring of Robert O’Kelley, as the Assistant Basketball coach for Crichton College today. 

O’Kelley, an All-State player at Memphis’ White Station High School played his collegiate career at Wake Forest University were he was the 1998 ACC Freshmen of the Year, 2000 NIT Most Valuable Player, and a John Wooden Award Finalist in 2001.

O’Kelley played professionally for four years in Spain, Belgium, Iceland, Hungary, and Brazil.  He participated in training camp and the exhibition season for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2003 and the NBA Summer Camp with the Memphis Grizzlies in Long Beach, CA in 2004.

He spent the past season as an Assistant Coach at White Station High School.

O’Kelley joins his former Spartan teammate, Dee Wilkes, and Matt Sanders on Coach Walker’s staff.
