Nashville, TN – February 4, 2008 - The Comets took to the road tonight to take on the Trojans of Trevecca-Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. The Comets jumped out to an early 5 point lead before the Trojans battled back. The Trojans built their lead to 6 before the Comets were able to catch up. With 3:41 seconds left in the half, the Comets tied the score 26-26.The Comets were able to maintain control of the lead the rest of the half and went into the locker room with a 1 point lead. The score at the half was 33-32.

The Trojans came out in the second half and scored the first 5 points. The Comets came back and with 18:41 minutes left in the half they took the lead on a field goal made by Emanuel Wimbush. Trevecca would take the lead again but the Comets would come back to tie the score up 42-42 when Rico Seay scored a 3 from behind the arc. The Trojans weren't able to gain control of the game after that, and at the buzzer the Comets had defeated the Trojans by a score of 69-58.

Leading the way for the Comets was Zarko Bronkovic with 16 points and 3 rebounds. Stanley Brownlee scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and had 3 assist for the night, and Rico Seay scored 10 points. Derek Boykin had 4 assist on the night. Collins Onyardo lead the Trojans with a double-double scoring 15 points and pulling down 12 rebounds
