Batesville, AR – February 16, 2008- Crichton College's Men's basketball team traveled to Batesville, AR today to take on the Scots of Lyon College in conference play. The Scots jumped out to an early lead, but the Comets battled back and were able to tie the game up with 14:31 left in the first half. The score changed hands multiple times in the first half with the score being tied on five different occasions, but at the end of the first half the Comets found themselves down by seven and went into the locker room at the half with the score 39-32.

In the second half the Scots came out and continued to dominate, capitalizing on turnovers and missed shots by the Comets. With 6:24 left in the game, the Comets found themselves down by 22. The Comets were unable to come back from and in the end were defeated by the Scots
86-72.

Stanley Brownlee scored a 17 points and 8 rebounds, Sylvania Watkins scored 14 points with 9 rebounds and Emanuel Wimbush scored 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Final Score: Crichton 72 - Lyon 86
