Lebanon, TN – January 12, 2008 -The Crichton College Comets took to the road today to take on the Cumberland University Bulldogs in conference play. The Bulldogs controlled most of the first half, with the Comets making only 35% of their shots from the floor, 25% behind the arch, and 67% of their free throws. At the half the Bulldogs led 27-37.

In the second half the Comets continued to struggle. Unable to hit any of their shots from beyond the arch and only 30% of their field goals. Cumberland was able to force turnovers and seemed to cause frustration for the Comet offense. The Bulldogs would win the game with a final score of 54-69. The Comets are now 8-7 overall and 3-3 in TranSouth conference play.
