Lebanon, IL – November 3, 2007 - Crichton College lost their second game of the season Saturday to McKendree College. In the first 20 minutes of the game both teams shot well from the field. The Comets hit 14-25 (56%) and McKendree hit 17-33 (51.5%), but the Comets were unable to convert on their free throws making only 10-17 compared to the Bearcats 9-13. At the half McKendree led the Comets 50-40.

In the second half McKendree came out and shot 50% from the field. The Comets continued to have problems getting shots to fall hitting only 14-32 (43.8%). McKendree's Eric Palm scored a career high 30 points to help the Bearcats defeat the Comets 86-96.

Stanlee Brownlee lead the Comets with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Derek Boykin and Jonathan Bohanna both had 13 points each. Crichton falls to 0-2 on the season while McKendree improves to 2-0.
