Pulaski, TN – January 17, 2008- Crichton College's Men's basketball team picked up another Conference win Wednesday on the road agianst #14 ranked Martin Methodist College. Crichton scored the first five points of the game only to see Martin come back and take the lead with 15 minute mark.. The Comets fought back and regained the lead when Rico Seay drained a 3pt shot with 6:48 minutes left in the half. From then on it was Comets all the way and Crichton finished out the half with a 6 point lead 38-32.

In the second half the Comets built on their first half lead and enjoyed a 10 point lead just five minutes into the period. Crichton was able to control the lead throughout the entire second half. Martin Methodist tried to rally but were only able cut the lead to 3 with 3:51 left in the game. The Comets again pulled away and the game ended with a final score of 82-76.

Two Comets registered double figures led by Emanuel Wimbush with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Stanley Brownlee scored 12 points and had 5 rebounds on the night. Kevin Green led the way for the Redhawks with 18 points.

Final Score: Crichton 84 - Martin Methodist 76
