McKenzie, TN – February 21, 2008- Crichton College's Men's basketball team traveled to McKenzie, TN tonight to take on the Wildcats of Bethel College. In the first half, the score changed hands multiple times with both teams battling defensively to maintain control of the lead. The Wildcats were able to take the lead and keep it with 3:12 left in the first half. At the end of the half, the Comets found themselves down by 6 points with the score 32-26 in favor of the Wildcats.

Bethel came out in the second half and were able to maintain control of the lead until the 11:43 mark when the Comets went ahead on a field goal scored by Michael Sapp. The Comets continued to build on their lead, and although the Wildcats made several attempts to regain control of the lead, they were never able to do it. At the final buzzer, the Comets had defeated the Wildcats of Bethel College 69-64

Sylvania Watkins led three Comets in double figures with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Zarko Brankovic and Micael Sapp had 12 points each.

Final Score: Crichton 69 - Bethel 64
