St.
Louis MO
– December 17, 2005 - Crichton
College Men's Basketball team traveled to St. Louis this
weekend with only 8 players and came away with a win and
a three game wining streak. The first half was a low
scoring affair with neither team able to get into a
offensive rhythm. The Comets came out sluggish and
played sloppy but were still able to keep the game close
and went into the half down one 31-32.
The
second half saw the Comets shake off the bus lag and
turn up the intensity on the Yellow Jackets. Crichton
scored 33 of their 55 second half points off of
turnovers and second chance points. At the same time the
Comets only turned the ball over 5 times while dishing
out 11 assist. Crichton outscored the yellow jackets by
11 and turned a one point first half defecate into a 10
win. The Comets improved their record to 7-4 with a
three game road winning streak and a 5-2 record in their
last seven.
DeShawn
Danzey scored 18 of his game high 26 in the second half
and pulled down 10 rebounds to register another double
double. Ajayi Ebenezer got his second double double in
as many games with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Jonathan
Loe scored 17 and Derek Boykin added 19 points 7
rebounds 6 assist and 3 steals in the win. Dustin Fox
