Men's Basketball Improves to 2-1

Memphis TN – November 12,  2005 - Crichton College bounced back from a disappointing loss today with a 111-75 win over Harris Stowe State College. The win also marks the second time that the comets have broken the century mark this season. Brian Gibbs led 6 players scoring in double figures with 21. Jonathan Loe registers his first double double of the season scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 boards. Freshmen James Jenkins and AJayi Ebenezer have the best games of their young careers scoring 14 and 19 respectively. Jenkins was perfect from the line shooting 8-8. Danzey and Boykin both have 10 and extend their double figure scoring streak to 3 games. Crichton continues to dominate on the boards out rebounding the Panthers 62-38. Kelvin Mosby Jr. led the way for Harris Stowe,  Scoring 20 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in the loss. Jackson State transfer Joe barker hit five 3's and finished with 19 points for the Panthers.
