2005-2006 Crichton College...Part time starter at the point...Averaged 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and nearly 4 assist in his 27 games played...Posted season highs of 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 13 assist...  
     
Jackson State Community College...played for Coach Deron Hines. As a freshman in the 2002-2003 season, Wilkes led the T.J.C.A.A. and N.J.C.A.A. region VII in assists at 8.3 assists per game. As a sophomore he led Jackson State to the T.J.C.A.A. championship with a 22-6 record. In that campaign he average 10.3 per game and once again led N.J.C.A.A. Region VII in assists at 8.5 per game while being selected to the All – T.J.C.A.A. team.  
     
White Station High School...played for Coach Terry Tippett. Started at the point on White Station’s 2000 and 2002 state championship squads. In 2002 Wilkes was selected most valuable player of the T.S.S.A.A. State Tournament.
