August 10 , 2007 – Coach Brandon Rowen signed Meridian Community College transfer, Kody Bumpous, today. Bumpous, a Byhalia, MS native, played his high school ball at Olive Branch High School lettering in football and baseball. He was also a member of the All-State team. While at MCC, he letter both years in baseball. Chris will be a valuable asset to the Comet team in the 2008 season.
