  Tony Gonzales Signs With Brockton Rox

Crichton player, Tony Gonzales, signed to play with the Brockton Rox of the Can-Am Professional Baseball League today and promptly had a two-hit game in his pro debut.

Tony is a 6’5” 225 lb from Fullerton, CA who played RF/P/DH for the Crichton College Comets.  He was a two year starter at the University of New Orleans.  He then played at Biola University before transferring to Crichton.  While at Crichton, Tony was named to the 2007 TranSouth First Team All-Conference, won the Team Slugger Award for Highest Batting Average, and was second in the Conference third in the Region for Batting Average.  Gonzalez had an overall batting average of .393 with a .685 slugging percentage, 11 homeruns, and 41 RBI’s.
