Memphis, TN, March 15, 2008  – The Crichton College Baseball team took on the LIons of Freed-Hardeman University at home today in the final game of a three game series. There was no score in the game until the bottom of the fifth inning when Terry Reed scored off a wild pitch. The Comets came back in the bottom of the sixth inning and scored 4 more runs making the score 5-0 Comets. The Lions were not able to answer in the seventh, and the Comets scored 3 more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to end the game. Comets defeating the Lions 8-0.
