Memphis, TN, March 5, 2008  – The Crichton College Baseball team traveled across town today to take on cross town opponent Christian Brothers University. The Bucs got on the board first scoring 1 run in the first inning, but the Comets came back in the top of the second and scored 3 runs. The Bucs scored a run in the bottom of the third and fourth innings, but the Comets were able to score 3 runs in the top of the fourth to hold the lead with a score of 6-3. The Bucs scored only 1 other run in the game coming in the bottom of the sixth. The Comets would score again in the top of the eighth and nineth innings to win the game 8-4.                   

Final Score: Crichton 8  CBU 4

Next up the Comets travel to Lebonan, TN to take on the Bulldogs of Cumberland Univeristy in a three game series that starts Friday, March 7 and runs through Saturday, March 8. Game times are 2:00pm on Friday and 12:00pm on Saturday for the double-header.
