April 15 , 2008 – Patricia Francis, Head Coach for Crichton College Women’s Volleyball Program, announced the signing of Kelsey Watson today. Watson is from Bartlett, TN and is the daughter of Mike and Vicky Watson.

Watson played her high school volleyball at Bolton High School were she lettered in volleyball all four years and basketball two years. She was picked for the All-District Team, was chosen Best of the Preps, and was awarded Best Hitter. In the '07 game against ECS, Kelsey had her best game with 26 kills.

Watson played her freshman year at the University of Memphis, and comes to Crichton as a transfer. She will be one of our experienced sophomores on the team next year.

Coach Francis is excited to have Kelsey join the Lady Comets and believes she will be a tremendous asset to the team.
