August 25, 2007 - The Lady Comets volleyball team lost their season opener to Mississippi Valley State University today with the Delta Devils winning 3 games to none.

The Lady Comets gave it a valiant effort, but the Delta Devils proved to be too much for our girls. Jasmine Vann lead the Lady Comets on the attack with 5 Kills and 2 Errors along with 2 Defensive Digs, 1 Single Block and 1 Block Assist.
