September 13, 2007 - The Lady Comets traveled to Batesville, AR today to take on the Lyon College Lady Pipers in Conference play. The Lady Pipers defeated the Lady Comets in a three game sweep with scores of 13-30, 8-30, and 6-30. Lauren Castleberry led the attack for the Lady Pipers with an attack total of 10 followed closely by Heather Gottfried with 9 and Daria Paunovic with 8. Leah Eifling and Julie Arnold both posted 11 serving aces. Defensive leaders for the Lady Pipers were Ann Sullivan and Lauren Castleberry with 3 digs a piece.

Deanna Chambers led the attack for the Lady Comets with a total of 5 followed by Alisha Barr and Rachel Walton with 4 a piece. Jessica Divitorio lead the defense with 2 digs.

The Lady Comets are back in action Friday, Sept. 14 at 7:00pm against Lambuth in the Crichton gym..
