February 29 -March 1, 2008 – The Crichton College Lady Softball team took to the road this weekend to play in the West Alabama University Invitational Softball Tournament in Livingston, AL. The Lady Comets played West Alabama on Friday in a doulbe header. West Alabama took both games of the double header 3-10 and 1-14. In Saturday's double header the Lady Comets again faced West Alabama in the first game lossing 7-12. In the second game, the Lady Comets took on the Lady Bucaneer's of Christian Brothers University. The Lady Buc's defeated the Lady Comets 1-10.
