April 30, 2008 – The Crichton College Lady Comets took on the Lady Redhawks of Martin Methodist University tonight in their second game of the Transouth Conference tournament. In a hard faught defensive game, the Lady Redhawks got on the board in the bottom of the second inning when Lady Redhawk Hollie Sanders hit a 2 run homer over the left field fence. The Lady Comets held the Lady Redhawks to 2 runs until the bottom of the sixth inning when they again scored 2 runs off of well placed hits. The Lady Redhawks would go on to defeat the Lady Comets 0-4 in game 2.
