March 5 , 2008 – The Crichton College Lady Softball team took on the Queen Bees of St. Ambrose University today at home. In the first game, the Queen Bees got on the board first with 2 runs in the top of the second inning. The Lady Comets came back and scored a run in the bottom of the 2nd, but it wouldn't be enough. The Queen Bees scored another run in the top of the third inning and 4 runs in the top of the fourth. The Lady Comets were unable to answer and the game would end with the Lady Comets being defeated 1-7.

In the second game, there was no score until the top of the fourth inning when the Queen Bees got on the board with 1 run. The Lady Comets would score in the bottom of the fifth inning to tie the game up, but the Queen Bees would come back in the top of the sixth and score 2 runs making the score 1-3. The Lady Comets were able to hold off St. Ambrose in the top of the seventh, and in the bottom of the seventh, the Lady Comets would score 3 runs to win the game 4-3.
