April 19 , 2008 – The Lady Comets softball team took on the Lady Bulldogs of Union University today at Tobey Field. In the first game, the Lady Comets led through the first six innings by a score of 3-0, but in the top of the seventh inning, the Lady Bulldogs scored their only run of the game. The Lady Comets would defeat the Lady Bulldogs by a score of 3-1.

In the second game, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Lady Comets were held to only one run in the second game while the Lady Bulldogs would score 12. At the end of 6 innings of play, the Lady Bulldogs would defeat the Lady Comets by a score of 1-12.
