April 14 , 2008 – The Lady Comets softball team took to the road today to take on the Lady Trojans of Trevecca Nazerene University. In the first game, the Lady Trojans held the Lady Comets to no runs. The Lady Trojans defeated the Lady Comets 0-9.

In the second game, the Lady Trojans jumped out to an early lead scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the first inning. They held the Lady Comets to only one run coming in the top of the third inning when Ashley Coffman scored. The Lady Trojans would score 3 runs in the bottom of the third inning and 2 in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Lady Trojans would defeat the Lady Comets in the second game by a score of 1-9.
