Pulaski, TN, April 8 , 2008 – The Lady Comets softball team traveled to Pulaski, TN today to take on the Lady Redhawks of Martin Methodist Univeristy. In the first game, the Lady Comets were unable to get the hits they needed to score runners across the plate. The Lady Redhawks defeated the Lady Comets in 6 innings by a score of 0-8.

In the second game, the Lady Comets scored 1 run in the top of the fifth inning when Grissom singled to center allowing Coffman to score, but it was too little too late. The Lady Redhawks had scored 4 runs in previous innings. Neither team scored in the sixth and seventh innings and the game ended with the Lady Redhawks defeating the Lady Comets in the second game by a score of 1-4.
