April 17 , 2008 – The Lady Comets softball team took on the Lady Lions of Freed-Hardeman University today at Tobey Field. In the first game, the Lady Lions held the Lady Comets to no runs and defeated them 0-5. In the second game, the Lady Comets again were unable to get their bats going and the Lady Lions dominated. The Lady Comets were able to score only one run in the second game and were defeated 1-7.
