March 6 , 2008 – The Lady Comets softball team took to the road today to take on the Lady Lions of Freed-Hardeman University. In the first game, the Lady Lions held the Lady Comets to no runs and defeated them 0-4. In the second game, the Lady Comets again were unable to get their bats going and the Lady Lions dominated. The Lady Comets weren't able to score at all in the second game and were defeated 0-17.
