October 5 , 2007 – The Crichton College Lady Softball team traveled to Jackson, TN today to compete in the Lambuth University Fall Classic. The Lady Comets took on John A. Logan in the first game and Jackson State in the second. Both games were well played defensively. The first game ended in a tie 3-3. In the second game, Jackson State got out to an early 2 run lead, but the Lady Comets battled back and scored 2 runs off a homer by Sierra Coltharp late in the game. The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
