May 21, 2007 – Head Coach Michelle Wilkes announced the addition of Sierra Coltharp, a native of New Albany,MS to the Lady Comets roster today. Coltharp is a transfer from Northeast Mississippi Community College where she was on the Second Team All State and Second Team All Division her freshman year, and First Team All State and Second Team All Division her sophomore year.

Sierra played high school softball at New Albany High School for Coaches Larry Ashmore, Mike Hearn, and Erin Chambless all the while excelling academically. She was in the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Who's Who Among American High School Students, and and Honors Graduate.

Sierra says, "I am very excited to be able to come to Crichton and play another two years of softball. I am working really hard this summer so I can come in at my best and help the team in any way I can."
