January 11, 2008 – Head Coach Michelle Wilkes announced the addition of Anna Carter to the Lady Comets Softball roster. Carter played junior college ball at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Anna played high school ball at White Station High School in Memphis, TN for Coach Ed McDougal, were she helped her team to win the City Championship in 2002, 2003, and 2004. Carter was named the Golden Glove recipient and Most Versatile Player on her team.

Coach Wilkes is excited to have Anna join the Lady Comets this season.
