Memphis, TN – September 4, 2005 – The Lady Comets gain their first points of the season with a 2-2 tie of local rival Lambuth University. Tiffany Genovese scored her second goal of the season and gave Crichton their first lead of the game in the 31^st minute. The Lady Comets carried the lead into the second half but gave up the tying goal in the 53^rd minute. Crichton once again gained the lead as Michelle Gross scored her first career goal from 45 yards out. However, for the second straight game the Lady Comets give up a goal with less than 10 minutes to play. After two overtime periods the score would remain 2-2 and the Lady Comets move to 0-1-1 on the season.  

Final Score: Crichton 2 – Lambuth 2 

Player of the Match: Tiffany Genovese 

Next the Lady Comets travel to Union University in a game that will see a first ever conference win for either Crichton or Union. The game will be played on Friday the 9^th of September at 8 PM.
