Henderson TN – September 24, 2005 - Crichton College won the first region match of its inaugural season with at 2-1decision over Mid-South Conference foe Campbellsville University. The victory came in the 3rd minute of overtime off the foot of Tiffany Genovese. The goal was the second of the game for Genoese's, who scored the tying goal late in the second half. The Lady Comets improve to 3-2-1 on the season and pick valuable points toward a possible trip to the post season. Genovese continues to write the record books as Crichton's leading scorer for regular season and career improving her total to five.
