January 24 , 2008 – Jeremy Iwaszkowiec, Head Coach for Crichton College Women’s Soccer Program, announced the signing of Raven Church today. Church is from Bartlett, TN and is the daughter of Jim and Jill Church

Raven has played three sports while at Bartlett. Church has played 4 years for Coach Tom Issac as a defender for the soccer team. She also played center on the basketball team and ran the 100 in track. Raven received a varsity letter in soccer, a junior varsity letter in basketball, the Coach's Award in 2005, Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps Award and Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2007.

Church has played competitive spring soccer and indoor soccer during her off season and participated in multiple high school activities, such as, Student Council, Infinity Club, FCA, HOSA, and FCCLA. She is also an honor student.

Coach Iwaszkowiec is excited to have Raven join the Comets and believes she will be a tremendous asset to the defense on the women's team.
