Memphis, TN – September 22, 2007 - The Lady Comets took on the Lady Braves of Alcorn State today at home. The Lady Braves defeated the Lady Comets by a score of 0-2. The Lady Braves scored 1 goal in the first half and the other in the 2nd half. The second half proved to be a defensive battle between the two teams with most of the fouls coming to both teams in the second half.

Ashlynn Pettigrew lead the Lady Comets in shots and shots on goal with a total of 5 shots and 2 shots on goal. Sarah Harrison had 5 saves and 2 GA's in the game.

The Lady Comets will be back in action on Saturday, September 29 at 11:00am when they take on Cumberland University in conference play.
