What is the “C” Club?
The “C” Club is Crichton’s organization of alumni and friends that provide support for the college’s athletic teams and the student-athletes who make up those teams. Your membership gift will help provide athletic scholarships for worthy student-athletes and ensure the quality and future of athletics at Crichton College.

Department of Athletics Mission and Value Statement
Crichton College's intercollegiate athletic program enhances campus life, promotes Crichton College and provides meaningful educational experiences for student-athletes in a student centered Christian Community. This community challenges student-athletes from diverse backgrounds physically, intellectually, and spiritually and enables them to engage and transform the world. Crichton Athletics accomplishes this mission by:

  • Promoting character development, leadership qualities, sportsmanship, and academic excellence in our student-athletes.

  • Employing coaches and staff members who exhibit and promote high standards of integrity and ethical behavior, including good sportsmanship and a desire to assist student-athletes in reaching their academic and athletic potential.

  • Supporting equitable opportunities for its coaches, staff and student-athletes, regardless of gender or ethnicity.

  • Promoting academic integrity by recruiting student-athletes who are capable of success in the college's academic program, providing academic support and student development opportunities and effectively integrating student-athletes in to the student body.

  • Complying with and following the principle of institutional control in operating its athletic program in a manner that is consistent with the letter and the spirit of the NAIA, the conference, the college rules and regulations.

  • Producing the best athletic teams possible to compete in NAIA Division 1.

  • Providing facilities, scholarship, and program enhancements essential for the coaches to recruit, teach and the athletes to train and compete.

Q:
Where does the money that I donate to the "C" Club go?
A: All money donated to the "C" Club goes for athletic scholarships and for special needs of the Athletic Department. Each year Crichton athletes will receive in excess of $500,000.00 in scholarships. The mission of the "C" Club is to raise as much of that money as possible.

Q: What period of time does my membership cover?
A: "C" Club memberships begin and end on the college calendar. The college calendar begins July 1 and ends June 30. In our first year, your membership will last through June 30, 2006.

Q: Is my donation to the "C" Club tax-deductible?
A: Yes, Crichton College is a 501c-3 tax-deductible organization. As with any tax issue, you should consult with your tax advisor.
