#21 Ranked Comets Refuse To Lose - Nashville TN – February 22, 2007 -Crichton College #21 ranked Men's basketball team traveled to Nashville Tennessee tonight to take on the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans. The Comets looked to stretch their winning streak to 9 games, and continue the quest for the first ever TranSouth Conference championship in school history. Mayfield, KY- February 17, 2007 Streaky Comets Get Win at Mid-Continent- Crichton College Men's basketball team continued their winning streak Saturday with a hard fought victory on the road against Mid-Continent University. The Comets went to Mayfield looking to extend their six game TranSouth winning streak against the Cougars. Memphis, TN - February 14, 2007- Comets Get Big Win Against #12 Ranked Union University Crichton College Men's basketball team played host to the #12 ranked Union Bulldogs Wednseday night. The Comets came into the night riding a 5 game winning streak and looked to stretch it to 6. The Comets were looking to get even after a one point overtime loss in Jackson TN earlier in the season. Pulaski, TN – February 8, 2007 -Comets Pull Out a 14 Point Victory on Road - Crichton College Men's basketball team continued to play well by picking up thier third conference victory in a row Thursday night in Pulaski against the Red Hawks of Martin Methodist. The Comets beat MMC earlier in the season at home, and took the season series tonight with a 94-80 victory.

Memphis TN - November 21, 2006 Sylvania Watkins Named Player of the Week Crichton College is pleased to announce that Sylvania Watkins of the #19 ranked men’s basketball team has been honored as the TranSouth Athletic Conference men’s basketball player of the week.  The 6’9” junior forward from Atlanta, Ga. led the Comets to a 2-0 record averaging 23 points, 7.5 rebounds, two assists, 2.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game.
