- Federal Pell Grant: These federally funded grants are awarded to eligible students based on the expected family contribution (EFC) calculated from the FAFSA. The EFC must be $3,850 or less to qualify for any Pell Grant funding. The range of Pell Grant awards is $400 - 4,050.
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG): Federally funded grants to students with exceptional financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA. SEOG awards generally range from $400 - $500. "Exceptional financial need" is defined as one eligible for a Pell Grant.
- Tennesse Student Assistance Award: State awards range from $2,106 to $4,644 per year, depending on the EFC calculated from the FAFSA. The maximum EFC for TSAA eligibility is 2100.
- Crichton College Need-Based Grants: These grants do not have to be repaid.
