Admissions Requirements

DAY PROGRAM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Crichton College carefully considers all factors that demonstrate the applicant's ability to succeed at the college. The programs of study offered by Crichton College are designed for students who meet academic and basic spiritual qualifications. Students who
are interested are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
High school students can submit an application as early as the summer prior to the start of their senior year in high school.

All credentials submitted become property of Crichton College and cannot be returned or forwarded to any party. The submitted applicant credentials remain active and up-to-date for one year in an applicant’s file; after this point, new credentials must be requested and sent to Crichton College before an admission decision can be made.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
All new students, including re-admitted and transfer students, are required to attend orientation at the beginning of their first semester at Crichton. Orientation is held at the start of both the fall and spring semesters for traditional day students and the Thursday prior to the start of each accelerated evening session for new AEP students. The program is designed to eliminate many of the difficulties, which students may encounter in adjusting to college life. Since important information concerning academics, registration, relationships with students and faculty, and the philosophy of Crichton College is included, every new, re-admitted, and transfer student would benefit from attending orientation. Traditional students beginning during one of the summer terms will be required to attend the fall orientation. Materials concerning college policies are provided during Registration. Each student should read these materials (especially the Student Handbook, Chapel Policy, and Academic Catalog) carefully as all students are expected to comply with the stated policies of the college.
