The Department offers a variety of majors which are built significantly upon courses offered by the Department, but are enhanced by courses from other disciplines. While the curricula for the major are structured to provide a comprehensive foundation for biblical and theological studies, students may also choose to focus in the areas of Old Testament, New Testament, Theology, and Ministry. All majors are encouraged, however, to minor in Biblical Greek, which will upgrade the degree to the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) level. Additionally, those desiring the opportunity to grow in their understanding of the Bible or youth evangelism can earn a certificate in Biblical Studies or Urban Youth Ministry.
