As a result of study in the School of Arts and Sciences students will demonstrate:

* Improvement in critical thinking – in rhetorical, quantitative, scientific, and philosophical analysis,
* Improvement in dialogical skills through various written, verbal, and visual media,
* An improved understanding of the content and methodology of the various academic disciplines in the liberal arts and sciences,
* A maturing awareness of the interplay between Christian faith and academic inquiry, and
* A successful application of skill and knowledge enhanced through study in the liberal arts and sciences in appropriate vocations or continued study.
