Statement of Institutional Purpose
ACADEMIC GOAL
    To provide academic programs that combine excellence in higher education with an evangelical Christian faith.
 
IDENTITY GOAL
    To project a positive public image in the external community and to maintain the institutional character of Crichton as an accredited, independent, conservative, Christian liberal arts college, primarily serving the metropolitan statistical area of Memphis and the Mid-South Region.
 
RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION GOAL
  To recruit and retain qualified students, faculty and staff.
 
FACILITIES GOAL
  To provide campus facilities that meet the current needs of our students, academic programs and to accommodate the college's operational and growth projections.
 
FINANCIAL GOAL
  To operate all programs of the college with a balanced annual budget which is based on sound educational planning and fiscal management.
 
DEVELOPMENT GOAL
  To gain friendships, support, and funding within the community to broaden and strengthen the academic programs of the college.
